The bright green and yellow U-13 welcomes west coast based Graham Trucking as an additional sponsor for the 2008 season. (UPDATE!) Graham Trucking will be the exclusive title sponsor for all races except Detroit.
Dave Bartush, owner of Detroit Unlimited Racing LLC and Jeff Kelly have been working with Graham Trucking owner Rob Graham the past several weeks working out details on how the U-13 can provide maximum benefits and exposure to Rob and his trucking firm. Unlimited fans that follow the sport can expect to see additional merchandise at the race sites featuring Graham Trucking and the U-13.
In addition, the U-13 crew will be attempting to complete modifications to the newly acquired (U-2) hull so that it not only can be used as a back up to the U-13 but also a display boat for Graham Trucking in Seattle’s Torchlight parade. This hull was previously sponsored by Rob Graham while owned by Jim Harvey. It was driven by current U-13 driver J Michael Kelly and was his first opportunity to drive an unlimited, earning Rookie of the year honors in 2004.
